Itinerary

Day 1
We will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Maldonado, at the airport or at the bus station. Afterwards, you will sail 45 minutes by boat to our lodge, located on the banks of the Madre de Dios River, near the Tambopata Natural Reserve.
Upon arrival, you will settle into the cabins and begin to explore this fascinating environment. We will walk along trails in the virgin rainforest, where you will discover giant tree roots, more than 500 species of birds, 300 species of ants and more than 100 species of mammals - a walk full of learning!
Afterwards, we will enjoy a full meal at the lodge. In the evening, we will take a boat ride on the river in search of nocturnal wildlife, with a guide who will share curiosities about this natural world.
We will end the day with dinner at the lodge.

Day 2
After breakfast, we will head to the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway, where you will walk on elevated bridges to enjoy the jungle from above, an unforgettable experience!
We will return to the reserve for lunch and, with renewed energy, we will embark on a boat to explore the River Island, observing the rich vegetation and birds, such as the Amazonian umbrella.
We will have dinner in the reserve and, at nightfall, we will take a night walk to discover the curiosities of the jungle fauna.

Day 3
After breakfast, we will continue exploring the biodiversity of the region. We will walk along the walkways of the aguajales and visit the biological garden, where you will learn about tropical plants and their medicinal properties.
Then, we will explore the Palmetum, a 30-hectare space with 19 species of Amazonian palm trees, dedicated to the restoration and conservation of the environment. We will have lunch at the reserve and, at sunset, enjoy another night walk to continue learning about the wildlife.

Day 4
After breakfast, we will take you back to Puerto Maldonado.
