Begin your exploration with the Northern Cluster of Churches, which includes Bete Medhane Alem, the largest monolithic church in the world, known for its grand size and impressive architecture. Next, visit Bete Mariam, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and Bete Meskel, with its beautifully crafted façade and intricate carvings. Take a flight from Lalibela to Axum, a historic city known for its ancient kingdom.
