What you can expect

Begin your adventure in Fes, where you will be picked up from your hotel or riad. Travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through the charming town of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its unique architecture and clean surroundings. Continue to the cedar forest of Azrou, where you can see Barbary macaques in their natural habitat.

Continue through the scenic landscapes of Midelt and the Ziz Valley, one of the most beautiful palm-filled valleys in Morocco. Along the way, have several stops for photos and to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and oasis.

By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, located on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Be welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea before heading into the dunes. Depending on your preference, reach the desert camp by camel or by 4x4 vehicle.

Spend your first night in the desert in a comfortable camp, where you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. After dinner, gather around the campfire and listen to Berber music under a sky full of stars. The peaceful atmosphere of the desert offers a unique opportunity to disconnect and relax.

The next day is dedicated to exploring the desert region. Travel by 4x4 to discover hidden areas of the Sahara, including visits to nomadic families living in traditional tents. Learn about their way of life and experience genuine Berber hospitality.

Visit Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa music, where you can enjoy a live performance and learn about the history of this unique community. Continue through fossil sites and black desert landscapes, offering a fascinating look at the geological history of the region.

In the afternoon, return to your accommodation in Merzouga for your second night. This extended stay allows you to fully experience the desert at a relaxed pace, with time to walk in the dunes, enjoy sandboarding, or simply admire the stunning surroundings.

On the third day, leave the desert and travel toward the Dades Valley. Along the way, visit the impressive Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon with high rock walls that attract visitors from around the world. Continue through the Valley of Roses and Skoura oasis, known for its palm groves and kasbahs.

Arrive in Dades Valley, where you will spend the night in a comfortable hotel, enjoying dinner and traditional hospitality.

On the final day, travel from Dades Valley to Marrakech. The journey takes you through Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” where you can visit film studios and historical sites.

Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic locations in Morocco. This ancient fortified village has been used as a filming location for many international movies and series.

After exploring the kasbah, continue your journey through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering breathtaking views and scenic landscapes. Arrive in Marrakech
