What you can expect

Begin your 3 days 2 nights shared sailing journey through Komodo National Park aboard a traditional Indonesian phinisi, combining island exploration, marine adventure, and meaningful local interaction.

This experience is designed for travelers seeking more than just sightseeing, offering snorkeling, trekking, sunset cruising, and an immersive visit to Komodo Village where guests connect with local residents and learn about daily island life. Each visit directly contributes to community development programs and tourism facility improvements, supporting sustainable travel initiatives.

Day 1: Kelor Island, Manjarite, and Kalong Island

Meet at Komodo Airport or your hotel in Labuan Bajo late morning, then transfer to the harbor and board the phinisi. Begin sailing toward Kelor Island for light trekking and beach time. Continue to Manjarite for your first snorkeling session in calm, clear waters.

Lunch is served onboard while cruising. In the late afternoon, sail to Kalong Island to witness thousands of flying foxes leaving the mangroves at sunset. Enjoy dinner onboard and relax under the stars before overnight in your shared cabin.

Day 2: Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Village, Manta Point, and Taka Makassar

Early morning sailing to Padar Island for a guided trek to the iconic panoramic viewpoint. Continue to Pink Beach or Long Beach for swimming and snorkeling.

Visit Komodo Village for cultural immersion, meeting local residents and learning about traditional island life. Part of this visit supports local human resource development and sustainable tourism facilities.

After lunch onboard, continue to Komodo Island for a ranger guided walk to observe Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, snorkel at Manta Point (manta sightings depend on natural conditions and are not guaranteed) and visit Taka Makassar sandbank.

End the day with sunset sailing, dinner onboard, and overnight in your shared cabin.

Day 3: Sebayur Island and Return to Labuan Bajo

Enjoy morning snorkeling near Sebayur Island, followed by breakfast onboard. Begin sailing back to Labuan Bajo harbor and transfer to the airport or hotel around late morning.

Throughout the journey, guests share meals in a communal dining area and enjoy a friendly social atmosphere onboard. Accommodation is provided in air-conditioned shared cabins with proper bedding and shared bathroom facilities, depending on cabin category.

This shared sailing experience combines adventure, cultural connection, and responsible travel, making it ideal for solo travelers, couples, and small groups looking to explore Komodo in a more meaningful way.
