Embark on an 8-hour circumnavigation of Ilha Grande by speedboat, visiting some of the island’s most remote, wild, and well-preserved beaches — Caxadaço, Parnaioca, Aventureiro, and Meros — areas known for some of the most spectacular natural scenery on the island. The tour departs from the pier in Vila do Abraão and returns to the same location at the end of the day.

The tour is run in Portuguese, but it’s very popular with international visitors because it follows a self-guided format. Each stop is centered on free time and independent exploration rather than guided commentary, and the crew stays on board while you choose how to spend your time. — swim, snorkel, float with pool noodles, walk along the shore, take photos, or simply relax.

Throughout the journey, the speedboat navigates around the entire island, offering a complete overview of Ilha Grande’s coastline — from sheltered bays and mangrove areas to exposed sections facing the open sea. The main stops are located along the island’s southern coast, where the most remote and preserved beaches are found. Along the route, passengers can view rugged mountains, dense Atlantic Forest, secluded coves, long sandy beaches, and an extensive shoreline with more than one hundred beaches.

The final stop is made at a location with a restaurant available for lunch (optional; meals not included). The exact venue may vary and is selected by the captain according to sea and weather conditions. Guests who prefer not to dine can use this time to explore the surroundings during the stop.

Many stops are accessed without a dock, so passengers usually step onto the sand or into the sea. If conditions require anchoring away from shore, reaching land may mean wading in waist-deep water or swimming a short distance. Staying on board is always an option for those who don’t feel comfortable entering the water.
