Then breathe in the crisp air with a light stretch and panoramic group photos overlooking rolling vineyards and emerging mountain peaks at the Healesville Scenic Viewpoint.

Enjoy free time for lunch at a local café in Marysville. Afterward, take a refreshing 15-minute eco-walk to the base of the magnificent Steavenson Falls, one of Victoria's tallest waterfalls, for an exclusive photo session.

Arrive at your base village lodge in Mansfield in the late afternoon. For travellers who wish to ski or snowboard, our partner rental shop in Mansfield offers equipment fitting at your own cost — optional and arranged independently. The evening is yours to explore the rustic restaurants and dining scene of Mansfield.

On the second day, fuel up with breakfast at the lodge before the scenic drive up to the resort. Spend the day exploring the alpine village at your own pace — wander the snow-covered trails, relax in heated alpine lounges, or capture panoramic photos and video content. Travellers wishing to ski, snowboard or snowshoe can purchase a lift pass and book lessons directly with the resort — optional and independent of this booking.

Break for lunch independently at the alpine village restaurants. Spend the afternoon capturing content, exploring the village, or relaxing in heated lounges.

After an independent early dinner, those who purchased a lift pass can experience the resort's Twilight Skiing under the illuminated Bourke Street run (subject to weather and resort schedule, tickets bought on the mountain). Everyone else can enjoy the night atmosphere from a cozy, heated mountain lounge. Return to the lodge afterward for a warm shower.

On the final day, enjoy breakfast and a smooth checkout at 8:00 AM. Pack your bags into the van and head up to Mt Buller for one final, uninterrupted day exploring the mountain at your own pace.

Enjoy the snow, handle last-minute independent lunches, and capture final group memories from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. After descending the mountain (and returning rental gear, if hired), gather at a scenic spot in Mansfield to share trip highlights before the direct drive back to the city.

Finish your trip with a drop-off at the State Library by 7:30 PM, concluding your alpine getaway.
