What you can expect

Embark on this planned three days trip to Akagera national park, where the traveller will spend a day and night at Lake Muhazi then later proceed to Akagera national park. Akagera National Park occupies 1112 square kilometers and it was established in 1934 by Belgium government for the protection of animals and the entire Eco-system.While in the park, you will be able to see the great diversity of wild animals among which are: Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Topis, Hyenas, Roan Antelope, and many more. Not leaving behind the primates species like Baboons, Vervet monkey and same natural bush babies. Inside the park, you will also be able to see the home of crocodiles and hippos in shallow waters of Lake Ihema, and this will be best viewed during boat rides.
