Founded in 1296 by King Mengrai as the capital of the Lanna Kingdom, Chiang Mai is the second largest city of Thailand. Chiang Mai has had a long and mostly independent history, which has to a large extent preserved a most distinct Thai culture. Beyond the city, the province offers some of the most picturesque scenery in the whole kingdom, and is one of the forested mountains including Thailand’s highest peak.
Day 1: Chiang Mai – Trekking Lahu Village (L/D)
Morning, transfer to Work Fa Waterfall where you can swim & relax then trekking to the jungle and hiking through the amazing nature before reaching La Hu Village which has an altitude of about 1,200 meters above sea level. Check-in homestay and enjoy the view of the top 3rd highest mountain - Doi Chiang Dao (2,175 meters above sea levels). Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 2: Lahu Village – Chiang Mai (B/L)
Morning, leave Karen village and take a bamboo raft along the Mae Tang River about 02 hours toward the Shan Village. Then drive to elephants camp and back to Chiang Mai. Drop back to your hotel. End of the tour.
