We will start the excursion very early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel.

We will travel by road to the city of Nauta, where we will board a boat to navigate along the Marañón River toward the confluence of the Marañón and Ucayali Rivers, the point where the Amazon River is born.

During the boat ride, we may have the chance—if we’re lucky—to spot gray and pink dolphins.

Optional: We can search for monkeys in their natural habitat.

Optional: We can also practice artisanal fishing (piranhas or other species).

We will enjoy a typical lunch on board prepared for the excursion.

The experience continues with a visit to admire the giant trees of the Amazon rainforest.

After this adventure, we will return to Nauta and then head back to the city of Iquitos.
