What you can expect
Day 1: Pokhara – Kande – Australian Camp
Your adventure begins in the morning with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Pokhara. Our friendly and experienced guide will meet you at your hotel with a name card, introduce you to the team, and give you a short briefing about the trek.
From Pokhara, drive by private vehicle to Kande, which takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic and road conditions.
From Kande, begin your scenic hike through beautiful forests, traditional villages, and terraced farmland. The trail gradually climbs toward Australian Camp, taking approximately 2–3 hours at a comfortable pace.
Australian Camp is a beautiful viewpoint surrounded by Himalayan scenery. After arriving, check into your comfortable local hotel or lodge and take some time to relax.
In the evening, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and, weather permitting, admire a spectacular sunset over the Himalayan mountains. You can also explore the surrounding area and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Day 2: Australian Camp – Dhampus – Phedi – Pokhara
Wake up early in the morning to experience a beautiful Himalayan sunrise from Australian Camp. On a clear day, you can enjoy amazing views of the surrounding Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges as the first sunlight reaches the peaks.
After enjoying the sunrise, return to the lodge for breakfast and prepare for the day's hike.
After breakfast, begin your descent toward Dhampus Village. The trail passes through beautiful forests, traditional settlements, terraced fields, and peaceful countryside. Dhampus is a charming Gurung village and a wonderful place to experience local mountain culture and lifestyle.
Take some time to explore Dhampus and enjoy the mountain scenery before continuing downhill toward Phedi.
The hike from Dhampus to Phedi takes approximately 2–3 hours, depending on your walking pace and stops along the way.
When you reach Phedi, our vehicle will be waiting for you. Relax after your trek as you drive back to Pokhara, which takes approximately 30–45 minutes.
You will be dropped off at your hotel in Pokhara, marking the end of your 2-day Australian Camp and Dhampus Village trekking experience.
