What you can expect

Morning:
Departing from Nairobi early in the morning, you embark on a scenic drive through the Kenyan countryside, with the promise of breathtaking landscapes and wildlife adventures ahead.
Arriving at Amboseli National Park, you are immediately struck by the majestic view of Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the background. The park’s open plains and lush marshes come to life as you start your morning game drive. Herds of elephants, one of the park’s most iconic residents, move gracefully across the landscape, their silhouettes creating a striking contrast against the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro. Lions bask in the early morning sun, and giraffes delicately nibble on acacia trees, offering perfect photo opportunities.
Mid-morning, you pause at Observation Hill, a high point in the park that provides a panoramic view of the entire reserve. Here, you can stretch your legs and take in the stunning scenery, with the chance to spot flamingos and other water birds in the nearby swamps. The vista from the hilltop is breathtaking, giving you a sense of the vastness and beauty of Amboseli.
Continuing your exploration, you make your way to a designated picnic spot where you unpack a delicious Lunch. The tranquil setting, surrounded by the sounds of nature, provides the perfect break. As you enjoy your meal, you may spot hippos and various bird species around the water, adding to the serene atmosphere.
Afternoon:
In the early afternoon, you resume your game drive, venturing deeper into the park. Amboseli’s rich biodiversity offers sightings of buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and possibly even cheetahs stalking their prey. The park’s swamps, fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro’s melting snow, create lush green areas that attract a myriad of wildlife, making every turn of the track a new adventure.
