Come for one of the morning interactive experiences, where you can brush down the majestic creatures and watch them taking a morning drink from a watering hole. You might also see them exchange trunk greetings when they come out of their stables. Then saddle up for a ride through the Lowveld bush.

Alternatively, try the Sunset Interaction and bring the elephants back to their home to settle down for the night. During some of the interactive experiences, you will be able to enjoy a picnic or prepared meal near to where the animals are playing and resting. Spend a few moments observing how the animals interact with each other.

The duration of the animal experiences vary from between one and two hours, to a full day with the six elephants.

During your time at Elephant Whispers, quiz the docents about anything to do with African elephants, their conservations status and efforts to ensure their survival.

The site opens daily at dawn and closes around sunset, to fit with the daily routines of the elephants. All of the activities attract a charge and there are discounts for children under 12 years of age. For prices and booking details, visit the official website of Elephant Whispers.
