"We had a superb experience staying at The Grand Hotel in Taipei. Among hotels of similar level, this one stands out for its thoughtful service and attention to detail. The staff were consistently warm and helpful — from the front desk and concierge to the transportation team, restaurant servers, cleaning staff, and luggage attendants. Everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of. What impressed us most was how comprehensive the services were. The hotel helped us arrange taxis, airport shuttles, and even a private driver for a day trip outside of Taipei, which was the highlight of our stay. They also offer on-site currency exchange, which was very convenient. The hotel itself is true to its name — grand in design, well-maintained, and very clean. There's a real sense of history and elegance throughout the property. For the level of comfort and service provided, we felt the price was more than fair. It was excellent value for the experience we had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-run place to stay in Taipei. "

"Hotel is very convenient to all locations and attractions. Nancy Chang at the front desk is super accommodating. She put us up to the higher floor room and allowed us to have late checkout. Overall, top notch hotel and we highly recommended."

"First, yes, it is a little bit of a walk to the metro, but it was not that bad. Also, the immediate area around the hotel doesn’t have a lot to offer. With that said, it was my favorite of 5 hotels stayed in from a 3 week trip. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The gym was good for a hotel gym. Very good, though small. And the spa was great. I used it twice a day. Note that it’s Japanese onsen so nudity is required. I would for sure stay there again if I find myself in Taipei again. "
