Room we chose was very traditional Japanese, sleeping on Ryokan. Family enjoyed our stay being on the West building just a lift down to the Private Bath Onsen. Great experience with various variety of indoor onsen pools and not to miss the outside onsen experience. Very convenient and lovely walk to Hell Valley sightings of wild deers, easy stroll to convenient stores too

This is a beautiful property. There is a minor inconvenience that escalators to the onsen and pool are under construction but the elevator works. The natural hot spring baths are amazing and numerous. There are both dry and steam saunas. The grandkids had a great time in the pool with a water slide and played with other children. We had ryokan style rooms with tatami mats making this experience very traditional. The location is very convenient.

Beautiful, relaxing stay, on a quiet and well appointed property. The onsen were excellent, as was the breakfast buffet. Will be staying again.
