The lobby and common areas and the rooms were all very lovely. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

This hotel is very stately and the main area is a work of art with stain glass ceilings. Having visited the hotel in early October, the pool was closed and the main dining room was not available on Sundays which was disappointing. Our room viewed over the river,, was large and will appointed.

Posted 13 Aug 2019 on HotelsBed was rock hard, super uncomfortable, surprising for a 5 star hotel. The AC turned warm in the middle of the night, even while set at the lowest temperature setting. Carpet was dusty and set off my dust allergies. Staff was slow and inefficient. Left a blanket inside my room and asked them to retrieve it after I checked out. It took them 40 minutes to bring it from lost and found to the front desk. Note that they said it was in lost and found within 10 minutes of me asking, it just took the manager 40 minutes to get it. I guess he was tired of his shift at the front desk and didn’t mind me waiting for something that should have taken 5 minutes.

Fantastic property! So lovely for a family with kids. We loved the transit service into the historic center and then be able to go back to the stellar hotel and enjoy the pool. The staff was so wonderful!!! We did not want to leave!!!

Did not meet our expectations due to billing error
Posted 25 Jul 2019 on HotelsA beautiful hotel with very nice amenities as well as location. The negative is the desk staff seemed inexperienced with their billing system as we were charged twice after prepaying on Hotels.com. They had no way to confirm payment although we showed them our hotel.com confirmation. We will not use this hotel again for that reason we are refuting the charges. Also their restaurant appears to serve pre-cooked microwave meals for dinner. Not good for the level of hotel they promote themselves to be.
