Staff was not too friendly at first. The garden inside the hotel was beautiful and the food was great.

Excellent property - room and view.
Park nearby and River are nice.
Too bad gate to river is closed.
Pool and things extra charge is unusual for such a nice hotel.
Price of hotel reflects niceness.
Restaurants are a bit crazy expensive though. 1800 Yen for a Coke is crazy.

We loved our stay! Spacious room with a beautiful view of the gardens. The staff was wonderful and i would definitely stay here again!

Hotel Chinzanso's service was absolutely incredible! The concierge in particular was very helpful in helping us organize some activities and secure dinner reservation both on and off the property during our stay there.
The huge differentiator was their garden which is very zen and peaceful to take strolls in day and night. In the evenings, they do a light and mist show which truely makes this feel magical. I certainly will be back!
