"Great location, near shops, subway, and lots of food areas. Very close to sensoji. Nice view of Tokyo tower and rooms were a good size (for Tokyo). Room had a good size tub. Also had a station for any toiletries you might need (brush, razor, toothbrush, etc..) and coffee machines. Overall happy - they could make it easier to find the lobby - found the big building but we went to the wrong side and couldn't reach the 5th floor. "

"Family of 5 - easy to get joining rooms. Rooms were small and snug but that’s what I expected for this area. 10 minute walk to stations. Family Mart out the door and Life Supermarket a couple of blocks away. Didn’t try breakfast as kids fussy."

"My adult son & I each had our own single room during our two stays at this APA hotel Asakusa- Ekimae in Tokyo. The rooms were VERY small but clean, and are of great value for the price. Daily new towels & extensive toiletry amenities are provided. Two challenges for me were the steep step up to the bathroom, and the lack of safety bars for getting out of the deep soaking bathtub. Neither were problems for my son, and the shower pressure is great. We loved the outstanding location - an easy walk to two different subway line stations: Ginza & Asakusa. It's also near lots of shops & wonderful restaurants. And, we easily hailed a taxi when desired. Hotel staff have limited English but are kind & patient, and use a cell phone translation app when needed to enhance communication. We plan to return to this hotel on our next trip to Tokyo."

"Very easy to reach from Narita Airport to Ueno by Skyliner train. Hotel is 6 minutes walking from station. Hotel reception is at the 20'th floor of tall bulding. The room was small but very convenient. "
