Worn, cheap smell under sink lathe apartment. Only one elevator dud t feel safe

The Oaks is close to Central Station and many shopping, eating and entertainment locations. There were some elevator renovations happening that delayed access to and from my floor, but not too inconveniencing.

Hi , I don’t normally write reviews - but thought others should know about our negative experience.
-Photos of the property were not accurate and the website was photos were mis - leading
-One lift was out and wait time was regularly 7-12 minutes
-The property interior needs a good cleaning
-The room smelt damp when we opened up for the first time
-It was a very hot day in Sydney, but even at night the A/C could not cool the rooms enough
-The TV remote did not work
-The toilet system was continuously running into the pan overnight , and I thought we had a leak.
- I should have read other reviews with similar complaints
- We ended up checking out - but Expedia will refund us
-At the front desk Jina was very helpful, when we explained our problems - and was supportive.
My closing point is Expedia needs to check the photos and information being presented is accurate.
We appreciated the refund

Broken lift, felt very unsafe in the lift. Poor service. Swimming pool was not good.
