Descent hotel
Posted 15 Oct 2013 on HotelsThe room was fine - nothing special and quite old but very clean. The staff was really helpful with check-in/out and keeping our luggage. It is situated 1 minute walk from the train station.

A place to stay when you need it (if it's avail.)
Posted 25 Sep 2013 on HotelsThe check-in was open late (thank god). We got there at around 11:45 or 12:00 at night from Narita airport. It was the only place open during the holiday weekend (that was less than $200 a night). The surrounding area is very convenient. You have to leave your room during the day (10:00-3:00 ish) for the super nice room service lady to clean your room. You can come back earlier, but she does so much (unnecessary but nice) that she's not done for a while. The Google maps location is incorrect, by the way. It's about a block down from the Sunkus on the corner on Mitsume-dori.

Great location
Posted 27 Jun 2013 on HotelsConvenient and safe at night. Close to a lot of restaurants, food stalls, market, drug stores and convenient stores. Polite staff, neat rooms, good enough for such a deal.

Cheap and offering good facilities

Location: Nice food around
location is definitely far from any main attraction in Tokyo city but I this drawback is justified by its price. I would recommend it for short budget travelers , which only go back to the hotel once per day. Very close to subway gate .

Not a resort hotel but convenient for those who wa
Posted 10 Jun 2013Good location in the center of the Strip, an old hotel and built a very strange way. Difficult to find your way around and get to the rooms, but the room is good and comfortable.

Small but workable
Posted 5 Nov 2012
Pros: Cost
Cons: Very small rooms
Location: It is in another city than Tokyo, although it is impossible to tell where one city begins and the next one ends.
The subway is located just up the street from the hotel. The extensive subway system will get you anywhere in Tokyo so you do not need to be downtown. Make sure you download or print a map of the subway system before coming.
I had a single room and boy was it small. The bathroom even smaller and the closet smaller yet. Most of the rooms will have a view of an alley.
Laundry machines on the 3rd floor for use. Same prices as local laundrymats. Wired internet in the rooms. As for wifi, the signal gets really weak after the 3rd floor.
The staff speaks no English, so you are on your own. I cound not find an internet cafe in the area despite being given a map by the staff.
Be careful not to get lost getting to the hotel from the airport. Best thing to do is find the station # as they are all in sequential order. Know which station you are to transfer at. You'll get the hang of it, and learn the station names, but first time using the subway it can be quite daunting.

medium to small, clean room, near subway
Posted 22 Oct 2012 on HotelsWe are a couple very pleased with the stay, the Receptionists have been nice and helpful, the Hotel is about 50 meters from the subway, with a few small H24 convenience store just besides - we have been very satisfied, especially for the cleanness of the room and bathroom. Room and bathroom are very small, compared to USA and European standard. But confortable and fully equipped.
