They charged almost full day rate to check in early. They had a phone in the room but nothing advising what number to dial for reception or room service etc etc. overall I wasn’t impressed at all.

Arrived early not helpful wanted $200 Aus to check in earlier! Once in tiny room small bed hard has a rock ! Not even a glass to drink out of !And the towels were disgusting! Suppose it did have pool to cool off ! But wouldn’t stay there again !

Slow, poor service from grumpy front desk associates. Hotel was always spartan but is now really beat up and in need of renovation. The mattresses need to be replaced.

It would be nice if the front counter receptionists are more welcoming, pleasant, polite, and friendly. I am a tourist from a friendly country, and seeing a face at the reception with a blank, unhappy face makes me feel unwelcome. This is something Singapore needs to improve. It looks as if they are not happy working there. Also, charging an additional fee for early check-in is something I have never come across anywhere else in my years of travel. This is something the management to look into to change this policy.
