I have been staying at this property for more than 8 years. Great staff, wonderful food, clean and amazing views of the Bund. Highly recommended.

Overall a beautiful property, after so many years away because of COVID, nice to return, I could have done without the sour-faced lobby security guard in the suit staring everyone down as they walked through the lobby. It's a hotel, not a jewelry store with the crown jewels on display!

Breakfast was great, staff was extremely helpful. Very clean and writhin walking distance. There is always a taxi outside. And there wasent a language barrier problem.

I had specially booked a room on the club level because I wanted to use the beautiful club lounge. Unfortunately, this was not available as it was exclusive to the government. There was no information about this in advance, so I booked and paid for something I couldn't use. The sauna area is getting on in years and not in the condition you would expect in a hotel of this class. The relax loungers in the sauna area were the most uncomfortable loungers I have ever lain on. Club lounge and spa were the two main reasons for booking at the hotel, unfortunately unsatisfactory. The massage in the spa area was excellent.

Everything was excellent, but not many people know english….
