"This visit I used a debit card to make a reservation. They took funds out of my account. I said, I’m paying cash at checkout. They said, oh it will be released when you check out. I said, ok. When I checked out I said, I’m paying cash. He said ok. I said, and my funds will be released back to my account???? Yes, he said. Gave him cash. I said, my funds are being released now? Oh yes, he said. Let me finish getting your receipt. I said, will it be released in a few minutes????? No, he replies, 7-10 days!!!! I held my cool, but I let him know that he basically lied to me. He had a very smug look. I pray this is not how you operate. Everyone else were very hospitable. I did enjoy our stay. "

"We stayed one night en route to see friends in the area. We have stayed at several locations in the greater San Diego area and this just became a top 5 spot. Easy to get too, super comfortable, great shower, per friend with realistic pet charge for the room. By far, a 9/10 experience. It’d be 10/10 if the room coffee was more than a coffee pod option. Heads up for pet owners: great grassy areas right by the hotel & an easy walk around the block for exercise. However, and this IS NOT THE HOTELS FAULT, but broken bottles on the side walks can occur so just be aware. 9/10 per friendly hotel. "
