We chose this hotel to give us more scope to see more of the city than just central Paris. As we were out all day we didn’t need a huge amount of space so the was ideal. The hotel has easy access to the metro and trains. It is not in a tourist area it is where ordinary people live.
The hotel was well maintained, clean and regularly serviced. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to eat though no Vegan friendly we could find. However the restaurants will try and cater for you.

The staff was friendly and helpful but the property needs some updates. The street were is located is a little unsafe, don't walk around at night.
The walls are paper thin we can hear everything from people getting in and out their rooms to coughing, talking, we couldn't sleep at all there's a lot activity at night.
Not suitable for families and not long stays.
You have to leave the key in the front desk if you step out the hotel and ask the key back to get into the room, so there is a 24/7 front desk for that very reason.

We would like to make some clarifications for the people who will read this opinion especially on the neighborhood. We are in a popular and multicultural neighborhood but not dangerous. We have a diverse and varied clientele and never a customer was bothered or had the slightest problem. Paris is made of various neighborhoods and a population from around the world, this is the case of all capitals in the world. You have Paris postcards with its emblematic monuments and popular Paris, rich in diversity.

The room was very small and not even close to the pictures i saw, when i booked the room. I was not even able to open the window without hitting the bed. The blanket and pillows were damp, and the hairdryer didn't work.

The photos on the site are pictures of our rooms but the configurations are not all the same and we can not put the pictures of our 43 rooms.
We are surprised at the problem of wet sheets and pillows and the fact that you did not report it immediately as was the problem with the hair dryer. Our reception is at your disposal 24 / 24h to find solutions when problems arise. The comfort of our customers is one of our priorities.

The floor inside the room is not comfortable. Complicated wifi connections. Bath tub is weird folding glass door. The door key needs to surrender to the front desk every time tine you walk out and retrieve it back every time you enter yiur room. Its the old fashion key thats so hard to lock and unlock the door every time I use it. So many different staff works on front desk. For 2 nights stay I encountered 4 different staff.The last person on duty was so unpolite and very arrogant his name is Ammed very poor and bad customer service. Very disrespectful. It was a bad experience. This place is highly NOT recommended! Horrible front desk staff Ammed.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay in our hotel Paris Villette. Therefore, we will try to answer the elements that brought you to this feeling.
The flooring has replaced carpets and is treated against dust mites, a source of allergy in some people.
The folding door of the bath is just a shower screen to avoid "flooding" the bathroom with each shower.
Yes we still have mechanical keys and prefer that our customers leave them at the reception.
The reception is open and at your service 24 hours a day, so the staff changes according to the day and time of the day. We are thus at the service and listening of our customers constantly.
We are surprised by your comments about Ahmed, who has been employed for years and with whom we have no problem. Perhaps you have not appreciated that it prevents you to accommodate the floors of the outside people after 10.00 pm, which is a simple rule to respect the tranquility for all of our customers. There is a lounge at the reception for this.
We regret not having met your expectations.

The rooms are spacious and clean. We were in a room with a double and single bed. But still plenty of room to move around. Would have been fantastic if there was a kettle as well. But other than that it was great place to stay for a 2 night trip to Paris.
