Had a reservation for one night.The check in rep was very nice. Our room was on the 14th floor with one elevator working and pretty full compacity. Going back and fourth became a problem because of the wait time. Last night, called the front desk to ask about time allotment to ABC studios and to request the one hour late C/O .Was told that the request had to be made the day of. She then sent my call at 7 pm to the concierge when the message clearly said the office closed at 6. This morning before going to ABC to ask about the late C/O. The gentleman said no problem will take care of that now.We left came back at 12:30 went to the room to get our bags and the key did not work. Called the front desk and was told that the clerk should have told me to stop at the desk for a new key.We waited for security from 12:35 - 1 pm security never came. This is not a customer friendly hotel but then again..It may just be the NewYork culture. Definitely won't stay here again and will pass it on through the social networks.Treat people with respect.This hotel is not cheap!!! You pay a resort fee plus tax..It is not a resort!! Nothing was given,not even a restaurant

Elevator is under construction, had to use the service elevator and pass through the connecting hotel lobby. They state that the elevator’s are undergoing a renovation, very frustrating. No coffee maker in room, I’m guessing that’s because they want you to buy it in the hotel lobby, would prefer not to have to get dressed in the morning and trek downstairs and wait in line for a $7 small coffee. There are plenty of other hotels in the city to choose from, wouldn’t go out of my way to stay there again.

Some area of the room new upgrades, mold around the sink definitely not good . Cleaning under the vanity sink not done well . Dust all over the light fixtures. For the money per night definitely not worth the money . Having to wait 5-10 minutes for the elevator another problem

The property is great! Good lobby, close to sooooo many things but the elevator situation is not the best. We have stayed here about 5 or 6 times when in NYC (and obviously like it because we continue to go back) but elevators are hard to come by. Usually they have two up and running and there is a wait going down to the lobby and coming up to your room but this time one was under an update so it took signifcantly longer.

This property is very close to all locations a tourist would want to visit. Unfortunately, the area around the property is somewhat in a bit of decline due to closing of businesses. It is good to see that the hotel is refurbishing their elevators, but it did cause some wait and line ups for elevators due to the upgrading. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cleaning staff are super good and we were pleasantly surprised with the booking.

The window was open and it was freezing. The heater broken.. took two calls before someone came to close the window. No coffee in the room. Everything else is unremarkable.
