"My arrival was delayed due to canceled flight, but my roommate arrived on time, and was sick. The staff stepped in and took care of her, waiting on her, checking on her-- they were fantastic! They certainly went 'about and beyond'. A BIG THANK YOU to the staff. We ate breakfast and one eve meal there, food was excellent! The 'hop on hop off' bus starts at this hotel which is very convenient "

"This property is located in a great place for a short stay in Johannesburg. It is basically next to a huge mall where you can spend the day shopping and dining. It is next to the Nelson Mandela square (there is an exit door from the hotel) where you can admire art or take a picture with a tall statue of Nelson Mandela. We only stayed two nights in Johannesburg and then continued our trip. For this purpose the hotel was perfect. In the morning there is a free shuttle to the "Hop on Hop off" tourist bus, which is a great way to get an overview of Johannesburg. We never even got off the bus. Da Vinci hotel is an upscale hotel, clean with great service. I would stay here again if I ever came back to Johannesburg."
