A 5 star hotel. 30 years ago.Posted 11 26, 15
This hotel is 10-15 years overdue for a complete renovation. The carpet and walls are dirty. Even the walls in the dining room had dirt and grime on them. Fixtures in the bathroom are rusting and moldy. The bottom of the bathroom door frame was completely rusted out. Grout and silicone caulking looks like someone's kid did the repairs. The mattress was rock hard. EVERYTHING is outrageously overpriced for the quality.

Close to Manila airport (c.100 pesos in metered taxi), and close to Mall of Asia (with free shuttle from hotel). Good security.

Cons: upgrade the hotel
The gym was located in the basement and very warm to go too. The spa provided in room massage and it was done very professional. The breakfast buffet was kind of crazy and service was non existent. The food wasn't that good.

Great location for shoppingPosted 11 13, 15
Pros: The distance to the mall and airport. This hotel is on a very busy road but the rooms are very quiet.
Cons: The carpet in our room was frayed so some upgrades are required.
Location: Located several blocks from the SM Mall of Asia which is great for shopping
This hotel is very close to the SM Mall of Asia with really good shopping and the hotel even has a free shuttle to the mall. Also close to the airport so the drive doesn't take too long in the crazy traffic. The food at this hotel was very good and there is a very nice buffet available. The hotel staff are very helpful and check in and out was quick. We did have some issues with the wi-fi in the room and housekeeping brought us a router which needed some adjusting a few times. Upon checkout, the hotel wanted to charge us for the free wi-fi and indicated that we had used a laptop which we didn't have but this issue was quickly resolved and all our deposit upon checkin of $3000 pesos was refunded to us. The hotel also has an outdoor pool which looks very clean.

Great Hotel to get through Jet LagPosted 11 9, 15
Close to airport. A quiet oasis in a busy, noisy city. A free shuttle service to Mall of Asia.

DisappointmentPosted 11 8, 15
Pros: The beds were pretty comfortable and the room was big.
Cons: The room had a piece of plastic sitting right in front of the night stand when I walked in. How anyone missed that after cleaning is beyond me?
Location: Near the Mall of Asia
The staff at the front desk were not friendly at all and they should be drilled on customer service. A simple smile would not hurt the girls checking people in. I did not feel welcomed by the front desk at all. The cleaning staff seemed a lot more friendly. The services in the hotel were way over-priced. The asking price for an in-room massage was 1,380 pesos which is nothing short of a complete rip-off. The price for the room service was similarly too much money and the food was not that good. I needed to print my plane reservation off the printer and I was told it would cost me 300 pesos just to use the hotel computer café. Needless to say I did not pay the ransom and went to the airport without a ticket to show. This hotel was nothing more then an owner trying to squeeze the most money out of guests and I would not stay there again, ever.
