Suite was a large room but bed was uncomfortable with hard mattress. The owner was very nice but the lady working the following morning was not very attentive. We waited 15 minutes for coffee and the coffee station was not self serve. The lady was not very nice to guests and seemed bothered to have to fix coffee.
The grounds were nice, the room was clean. Did not like key card entry to the building and controlling power, hence was unable to charge any devices while off the property. Breakfast was sparse, coffee was excellent. No customer service as staff was not present except at check in for a few minutes and to prepare morning coffee. The toiletries looked like they were decades old -- not what I would expect in a property of this caliber.
Lovely accommodations, extremely helpful staff, short walk to Lucca city center, outdoor sitting areas were lovely as well! Highly recommend! LAM bus stop just across the street. Easy taxi to train station. Very well kept & clean.
The staff, particularly Ilenya, are attentive, respectful, and very responsive. I liked the linens - they are a nice quality, and the pillow cases were pressed. The terrace was very pleasant, and was a nice place to relax after a day walking. The front rooms do get street noise, but with windows closed, it's quiet. Overall, a great place to stay, and within a 15-minute walk to the wall.
This hotel was just lovely. Staff was extremely helpful. I lost my cell phone and when I spoke to the police, I could not understand what was being said. The young woman took the call for me and was able to find someone to explain how to retrieve it. The hotel was beautiful and had free parking. I loved this place!
