I consider the location as a boutique hotel near the traditional sector of Kyoto which provides you access to some great sites that are nearby. The hotel is new with a very Japanese and modern flair. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. In final, I highly recommend this location for a romantic stay in Kyoto.
Rooms were perfectly spacious. They were able to combine a double bed into a king somehow and first come first serve bicycles on loan was a great way to explore the city. The hotel was centrally located and modern with a touch of old school charm with the tea mat area in our room. One of my favorite hotels to date, I highly recommend.
