"It’s a quaint hotel. May not be a resort style hotel but you feel comfy living there. It’s unpretentious. Room is fairly spacious too. Aaaaaah … even at the 14th floor, the shower’s water pressure is almost like a firehose! That’s just so good."

"Everything was good except we picked the heritage loft and it was very hot on the first night then it was better the next two nights. Next time I will choose the lower floor. Bathroom was a bit difficult for older people. There were steps to walk down. "

"We booked just a regular room and lucked out with the Old Kitchen room. It was amazing. We had a private hot tub to use and just an overall comfortable room. The bed was great and the AC was even better. The staff is amazing and goes out of their way for you. The mansion is a must stay just beware that the hawker next door is very noisy but stops around midnight. We ate there and it was fabulous. The breakfast at the old mansion is way better than any standard free breakfast I’ve gotten anywhere else. My husband and I agree that was hands down the best hotel while we visited Malaysia. "
