"This hotel is run how a hotel should be. All staff I encountered are attentive and kind. The whole place is spotless, except for dated carpet in stairwell and rooms. Other than that, perfect . Soft towels, clean room, good breakfast with healthy options (plain oatmeal, hard boiled eggs) as well as usual offerings."

"Our stay at Terrace Bay was nothing short of awesome! We were traveling through the UP to see family in lower Michigan and booked due to the listing information. The room (in the new addition) was exceptional. It was clean with good amenities but not too overboard for a UP hotel. We were able to also eat dinner at the restaurant and I cannot remember when I had a meal that good in a long time. The food was excellent, the dessert was decadent, and the service was beyond exceptional. The only “complaint” (not even a complaint) is that you will spend a bit more then typical for a meal if you are considering other dining options in the UP but it’s 100% worth it. The whole package is a perfect balance of UP hospitality with modern tastes and service. We will be back and we will be recommending it. "

"We loved our stay at Pine Grove Resort! It was a great option while we were in the area for a friends wedding. The private beach and waterfront tables/chairs are such a great addition. Overall it was quiet at night to sleep, and our room had plenty of space for us. Being able to eat breakfast on our balcony looking at the water was one of our favorite parts. It’s clear that the staff was happy to have us there, we didn’t feel like just another number to them. Plus check in was a breeze and parking/ammenity instructions were clear. We could tell that the property is a little older, but it is still in good condition and the updated items are well received - great lighting in the hallways, walk in showers. We definitely will look at staying here again in the future! "
