"Hotel room was clean. Checking took longer than anticipated due to process in place. Enjoy the room space and complimentary water bottles and tees in the room. Location is suitable and not far from the airport and city center. "

"Oryx Hotel is expensive. However, with a long layover in Qatar, it was worth it. Staff are efficient and friendly. The room was comfortable. It was a bit difficult to find, despite the directions provided. Head to Gate C1 and you will see the yellow bear!"

"I recently had a great stay at this hotel. The free valet parking and smooth check-in/check-out process were very convenient. We booked a 2-bedroom apartment which was huge and nicely furnished, complete with a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a living room. Although the room could have been cleaned better, it was still good overall. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again for its spacious accommodations and convenience."

"This is a very nice, fancy property. Our stay was short so we did not get to take advantage of all it offered. They room was very nice and clean. The gym facility was excellent. The dining buffet by the pool was absolutely fantastic - Best falafel I have ever had and the lamb was excellent along with the Shwarma. There is a metro station about 500m from the front entrance to the hotel that goes to/from the airport without ever having to change trains. We also took the train into town to the market. It was about $6 for an all day pass on the metro - what a great deal and super convenient. We would stay here again if ever back in town. "

"This was our second visit, this time for 11 days. We love this hotel , but particlularly the staff who are all so friendly and welcoming and make this a really first class hotel. Apart from this the hotel facilities and condition is excellent, and the area in which it is located is convenient both for world class shopping but also the metro system. Doha is a marvellous city and will become more and more popular in our opinion. "
