"We were only a one night stay in a viceroy room but arriving very early we had asked if we could leave our bags and go off exploring ....first visit for my 7yr old grandson...however i was visibly wearing having already been on the go many hours so while we messed with bags the young lady behind reception chased up housekeeping and got our room released . I was so glad and how thoughtful ... The room was great 2 doubles and a lovely bath n shower room and a nice view ....loved the bath loved the coffee machine . My grandson was very impressed with the ftontage and reception . He said it looked like a mary poppins house I used to stay for work now im staying for leisure i expect we ll be back"

"Spectacular lobby--incredibly elegant and beautiful. Rooms were on the small side (typical of Europe), but otherwise very nice; great (and deep) bathtubs and good king-sized beds. The attached restaurant was excellent, too. Special praise to: Jeban and Alfred (waiters) and Fawzia (the hostess) at The Saok. Igerta and Paddy were especially nice and helpful at reception."

"The hotel is not surprisingly great, but what makes it truly outstanding is the smile and attention of every single person working there. I travel a lot and have seldom seen such a high level crew. Best of the best! PS: Special thanks to the team at the Palm Restaurant that worked with us for the High Tea on Friday afternoon, worth every penny."
