Nice Hotel to catch for short stay.

Posted 6 Mar 2018
Hotel is at good location with walking distance to the MRT/BTS. Food is easily available and most important is the 7 Eleven. the only complain i would have is the aircon blow directly to the table hence sitting there with my laptop is kind of freezing. Should have think properly for the air con location

Cheap but not gd deal. Worse food ever

Posted 3 Mar 2017
Pros: Lobby and restaurant decor, big bathroom
Cons: Restaurant taste and speed of service should be improved!
Location: small local bazzar market, near MRT
Room was nothing like picture, run down and no windows even though price is cheap. Accessible to MRTby 7 mins walk with some local market nearby and a convenient store beside. DO NOT eat at the restaurant even though it looks nice - Food is small portion, taste terrible and service is super slow. Forgotten to replace towels affter make up giving excuse that towels not ready - i went out till evening still not ready when back...

Great service, but no sun

Posted 30 Jan 2017 on Hotels
Great service and the staff were friendly and helpful and good at English. But if you don't like to stay in a room with no possibility to open a windows you should not stay here, only window is in the bathroom and you can't open it. For the same reason you can't get sun light in the room either.

TanAor Place Bangkok

Posted 22 Aug 2016
Pros: See the report above
Cons: See the report above
Location: Chatuchat Markets and Don Muang airport
Fast check in. 1000 baht deposit required for key. (August 2016) Double bed basic room. Door lock mediocre, could be easily forced. No safe in room. Room clean. WIFI good. Available for two connections. Bed comfortable. Four pillows. Good sized fridge. No bedside table, no bed side light switch - get out of bed to turn on or off. No windows, just glass wall bricks to let in natural light. Quiet. No spare toilet roll even after room made up (day2). Complimentary shampoo, razor, soap etc. good. Two towels. Hand wash basin push down operation plug broken. Could not collect water in hand basin. Mirror too low over hand basin. (had to bend knees to see face!). Hair dryer. Shower spacious either cold water overhead or hot water hand held. Good pressure Floor 2' Aircon fine. Plus a wall mounted fan. Big TV with clear picture but almost exclusively for Thai and Chinese. 150 baht taxi to Don Muang airport Two metal frame "wicker" chairs and small circular glass top table. Long bench with spare space where TV is located. Wardrobe complete with hangers. Kettle coffee and tea. Also in rec Two spare power points at TV Two spare powerpoints hidden behind bed. Location ten minute walk to local mass transport underground rail. So convienent access for all areas. Lots of "hawker stye " eating. 7-eleven 50 metres, Lotus mini mart 250 mtres. Good value if "half price" discount from Expedia. At full price, not so good value. Certainly not exciting but adequate.

No window and no safe in the premium room !!!

Posted 27 May 2016 on Hotels
There is no window in the premium room as well no safe... The toilet in my room was blocked every time after use... imagine how plesant was that stay. Hotel is located around 5 stops by metro from city centre. Taxi from Sukhumvit (city centre)should never cost more that 120 Bath (3 eur) for one person, even during the night. Taxi drivers has not a clue where it is located - what a pain - you need to tell them that it is close MRT Sutthisan station. If you will order a taxi from hotel to the airport it would be around 260 Bath. Watch out for a change - my taxi driver was trying to rip me off. Don't even try to make a tea from a pot in the room ...the cups are so dirty that it will not even come to your mind to use them... better to go to 7/11 and buy one. I am not sure if WI Fi was working , I have tryied few times to connect without success, but there is a Internet caffee on that street 10 Bath for 30 Min

It was a good hotel for price but the staff were very slow and we pre paid and pre booked and it took them 45 minutes to check us in when we were the only ones there at 11:00 pm also our toilet in our first room broke but they did switch us to a new room
