"Perfect place to stay, from staff friendliness honestly everyone greets you with a smile & a greeting if’s truly amazing. It’s the best breakfast Buffett and it’s right in the mall so your shopping couldn’t be more convenient.The rooms are spacious and quiet I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay we’ll definitely be back "

"At the end of the 5 star hotel complex. This hotel is a 4 at best. Rooms are small but very clean. Pool area is very nice and staff are friendly and professional. Free Shuttle across the street to Newport Mall is a plus! Hotel is very popular and may take up to 30 minutes to check in or out. "

"The staff and manager at The Fairmont, Manila, Ms Kathleen Yap, stand out as phenomenal. I arrived very early to Manila after an 11 hour flight and they were kind enough to offer me at 10:00 am check- in. As I had a meeting I could not accept and so they escorted me to the Spa to change and get ready. I returned in the evening but there was no hot water in the room but I was too exhausted to inform the hotel staff. I had to leave at 4:30 am and still there was no hot water. When I called the front desk at 3:20 am to report that, the front desk offered me to move to another room but I had no time. They called again to let me know that I didn’t need to move but can use another room two doors down to shower which I did. I went to check out and the manager herself with the front desk staff were waiting for me with breakfast to go. I had not selected breakfast option before. Not only she had several options ready for me, she had 4 different drinks because she wasn’t sure about my preference. She has tea, hot chocolate, coffee, juice and water. I think she went above and beyond. Though hot water can be found in almost every hotel, such consideration and attention to details and graciousness are hard to find let alone at 4:00 am by the manager. I will definitely choose this hotel again if or when I come back to Manila. "

"City Garden Hotel Makati has good value for your money. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and attentive. One of the bellhops went beyond what was expected. We were transferring to our next hotel, which was the next block up the street. I was about to call a ride share service and the bellhop stated he would just bring all our bags there for us. I was quite impressed and appreciative for his kindness. We will definitely stay here in the future."
