The room. Itself was good but not what I expected. We had to drive 3 or 4 minutes from the check-in building to get to our room. If we wanted to use the pool we would have to drive back to the main buildings and find parking so if the pool is important to you book a room nearby it.

Check in and location great.
Unfortunately the room heater is not working. Walked into an ice box and maintenance called to repair in late evening

Our room was in the cottages (not the building pictured in the listing) and was cramped for two people with luggage.The walls were thin and conversation in adjacent room could easily be heard. Fortunately, only one of the adjacent rooms was occupied and they retired at a reasonable hour. The corner shelf in the shower was not secured to the wall so toiletries tipped onto the floor.and water leaked past the door onto the bathroom floor.I didn't realize that I needed to request housekeeping, not a big deal for a two-night stay. On the plus side, the hotel is about 1.3 miles from Merchant Square and was a pleasant walk down Richmond Road..

Didn’t like the set up of rooms. Traveling alone, felt very unsafe in the property as it was a drive from the hotel to your actual room. Not a traditional hotel.

The location is excellent and the front desk is warm and professional. It appears that some employees live and work in the old Princess Anne Motor Court section, which seems like a nice arrangement. However, during my stay they were making noise late at night and I cigarette smoke smell wafted into my room. I won't stay in these rooms again.

The location of this hotel was fantastic for attending an event at Martin Stadium. The room was in the back section of the hotel in a cottage. The the room was extra big with two king beds. I can not speak to the main hotel area but if I could stay in the cottages again I would do so for any future visits to W&M.
