This was a beautiful place! The parking was a bit confusing at first, but we figured it out. It was so convenient to be downtown, with only a two minute walk to the cable car up to the gardens, and next to a lot of shopping. Thank you!

Very clean well appointed rooms. Quiet, good glass windows. Service desk very helpful. Lovely bathroom. Wish we had more time to enjoy another night and enjoy restaurant etc. Would def stay another time.

This hotel has an old world elegance about it, something lost in most other places. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable with a special quality. It is situated centrally in Wellington cities shopping area with plenty of restaurants and cafes within short walking distance. The staff are friendly and willingly helpful. This was our third stay here.

Staff were all friendly, respectful, and highly efficient. I liked the rather old fashioned ambiance of the building, combined with modern convenience. The hotel is very central in the Wellington downtown, very walkable area that feels safe. The restaurant was excellent.
