Every time i vome ghe service people are less competent. The hallways reek of chlorine or disinfectant. The only positive is the location. This hotel needs new management and a major upgrade

Extremely old rooms, poor room service, ceiling in bathroom broken, no water power in the shower

Facility fee of $35 is ridiculous. They say there is complimentary water daily , had zero water. Soaps in the bathroom had someone’s hair on them. Staff at front desk very unfriendly looking. Like they don’t want to be there. Keys get demagnetized and you can’t use elevator or get in room. Unpleasant experience. However location is great and everything is walking distance very safe neighborhood.

This is an old hotel that has reasonable rates. Our room curtains were dirty, there was no lighting in the front half of the room (by design), there were no closets apart from a DIY style unit in the bathroom (damp clothes), the bathroom ceiling had been patched with foam board and the fire sprinkler was partially detached. Probably should have said something but by that time we'd unpacked and didn't feel like moving. This hotel is only good if you're traveling for business and need a reasonable rate near the center of town. For families it lacks basic amenities and is dirty.

Staff could be a little more welcoming. No parking available for vehicle, had to use valet and pay unwanted extra. Convenient walk to White House and monuments.

The hotel just seemed rather unkept. Peeling paint, peeling wallpaper, dirty, grout, giant polyester, pillows to break your neck. I think it was a real oversell on Expedia’s part. Check out someplace else even if you have to pay a few dollars more. I was really disappointed. The upside is the location.
