The property is perfectly situated. It is close to town, which makes access to shops and restaurants very easy by foot. Despite its proximity to town, it was very quiet.

A safe and convenient place to stay near Lake Tekapo. Our host was awesome and shared knowledge about places to eat and see. Our room(2) was comfortable and well stocked. The beds were comfortable/sheets were clean. The only recommendation I would make would be to clean the mold on the ceiling in the bathroom above the shower. For an older motel this is a quant place to stay!

Very enjoyable stay, we liked being in town near the lake
Enjoyed going to find coffee and crepes around the corner
We found the convience kitchen very helpful to us as we prep our own food for day long treks

Stay away from this dump. Smells like urine and the staff couldn’t care less about you.

This property is close to everything, very pleasant and affordable
