Check in was over 3 hours late after driving 10 hours with kiddos. They only told us after we had paid in full so we couldn’t book another hotel so we missed the plans we had drive in for (we would have chosen another Hilton - of course).
The room cards stopped working every single day, multiple times a day while we’re there - so we would be unable to get anywhere without getting new cards every time. That was really frustrating.
The electricity in the room must have blown a breaker, it happened the very first night we arrived but no one came to fix it even though we kindly notified them every morning that it hadn’t been resolved and they would say someone would be right up.
Staff at front desk were 50/50 as far and in for very rude depending on who was there for the shifts. We used to stay in this hotel every other year rotating between Virginia Beach and the Hilton Oceanfront Suites in Ocean City but now that it’s changed companies the service is very unreliable/poor. We also always stay at Hilton’s- normally and we absolutely love our stays and rave about them. This was one of the most expensive weekends to stay (which we don’t mind) but it absolutely was our worst ever experience with this hotel or any Hilton property since traveling as a small child. :(
Parking garage is always convenient.
Close to live music.

This property is not worth the price rhey charge all the amenities they offer are next door at their sister property. Thwy charge resoet fees and dont even offer housekeeping durung your stay uts a do it yourself. The ocean half view usnt worth it because you might be stairing at a loud air conditioner all night.

We loved our stay. The over all feel of the hotel is very cozy, warm and inviting. The amenities are over the top and the location is absolutely perfect because of the proximity to amazing restaurants. The only real drawbacks are thin walls (noise carries!) and certain repairs/upkeep that was obviously not being done. The door to our room didnt close properly without forcing it and the trashcans in the hallways were chipped and overflowing at times.

The entire hotel area was very clean. Staff would stop to pick up random stuff off the floor. That never happens. Staff were all friendly. Our suite was amazing and clean- no random sand anywhere -and we didn't hear anything from adjoining rooms. We love the pizza shop across the street so food wasn't an issue unless you're a big breakfast eater. The sidewalk right outside the hotel is a little uneven but that's a city issue

There are four pools in total and staff was really helpful. They were kind and accommodated for my unexpected extended stay.
