Hotel was great (though it was being painted with scaffolding around). Easy walk to the Ventura Pier/restaurants/Pacific Ocean.

At first I was surprised to see the entire front of the hotel was under construction. But the inside was great. Very spacious room. We got a welcome drink and snack. Super friendly and accommodating front desk staff. Then, for dinner, we were a free walkable steps to downtown Ventura and all the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again,

I had initially asked for an ADA room close to elevator, but on the day we arrived it was not available. I walk with a cane and that was difficult in terms of mobility.

When requesting a change, our team will do so when possible. We hope you understand that the room type you wanted was not available for us to switch you to. Our Guest Services gave you the closest room available to the elevator as you requested. We truly are sorry we weren't able to do more but hope you were able to enjoy your stay with us.

Apart from the ongoing construction which has taken months and months, this time there was a restaurant or club near the property playing extremely loud music from afternoon till 10pm. Bad music; impossible to ignore or rest in peace.

The property was clean and safe, easily accessible and convenient parking. Once we parked we did not get back in the car until we left. The beach, town, everything was walkable and easy to get to.
The outside of the property was being worked on and surrounded by scaffolding, which was a little off putting, but it did not effect anything inside, so it was no big deal.

The interior was recently updated and was very clean and well appointed. The room was very large.
The bathroom was spacious with a generous vanity with ample space on either side of the sink for personal items. There was a second well lite vanity & sink outside the bathroom!
The complimentary breakfast had a vast selection of hot foods, along with multiple types of fresh fruit and pastries.
Staff was attentive and very friendly.
The exterior was being redone and had scaffolding all around the front and sides but that did not impede access to the lobby or limit access to psrking.
