was exactly where we needed to be. Safe, clean and quiet. as with everything the prices are robbery - $500 to stay one night in a very small, although clean and comfortable room - you asked lol

Wonderful stay, clean room with comfortable bed. Helpful, friendly staff. Construction across the street is noisy in the morning but that can’t be helped. Walking distance to many eateries and shopping. Would stay here again!

So, while we were very aware of the cleaning room door hanger... we made sure the service we wanted was accurate on the hang tag but 3 days in a row we received sub standard service.. we spoke with the staff and asked PLEASE provide the service we asked, replenish water, coffee, etc. They seemed nice and I left $10.00 on the dresser which was taken OK no problem and we had excellent service that day. The following day service was not as good and the next day it was completely terrible when I did not leave a tip. A shaver was lost??? taken?? during one of the first cleanings. We did not report it because we blamed ourselves for misplacing it, and although it was there the first day and I used it... the shaver never made it home and was not used the second day forward. Bathrooms were reported to front desk on first day as they has dust on the baseboards, dirty shower floor, mould in the grout up and down all corners... While front desk said they will address the issue, it was never addressed. If this was an $89.00 room in Toronto we had a better history but we paid an average of $545 per night for 7 straight nights.. we expect a lot better than our $89.00 room in and near the Pearson Airport... Vancouver Sandman Hotel in down town Vancouver should set an example better than this.

This property, although expensive this time of year, had a small but clean room and comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly and our room was ready for an early check in as requested at the time of the reservation. My only criticism was the noise level of the room doors closing on the floor. Other than that, we had a short but good stay.
