Great view and location

It was superb. Breakfast is a bit pricey at 2300 ¥ ($23) but it was fun to do as a splurge. Views over the park are amazing, especially as Tokyo's lights come on at night.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in Tokyo!

Posted 04 10, 14
Pros: Very close to the train station & shopping. Very roomy modern room with a wonderful view.
Cons: Little more seating in a lobby area?
Location: Use Southern Terrace Exit (under construction but 5 minutes to the hotel). A shopping trip to Tokyu Hands should not be missed.
I go to Japan often. And this is one of the best hotels I stayed in Shinjyuku area. We had a little mix-up with our rooms but staff corrected it right away. Free Wi-Fi is great.

Very convenient

Posted 04 8, 14
Pros: It's location
Location: Shinjuku Railway Station offers a huge variety of subway lines to all of Tokyo as well as above ground lines. A large number of department stores.
This hotel has reasonably good sized rooms for a Tokyo hotel and the price. It's location is excellent, much better than the international hotels in the business area of Shinjuku. Very handy for for dining at Times Square and shopping in Tokyu Hands.

Great view of Tokyo

Posted 04 7, 14
Pros: The views.
Cons: Try smiling.
Location: Takashimaya Shinjuku is just a stone throw away from the hotel.
We arrived at the hotel at 7am to leave our luggages with the concierge. The guy who was attending to us was anything but pleasant. He had ABSOLUTELY no smile nor did he even greet a basic "good morning". The same goes for the other staff throughout my entire stay of 5nights with them. The 1st impression was an utter disappointment and although the room views made up for the service, I may consider twice the next time I am planning a trip to Tokyo.

Great location & staff

Located 2 minutes' walk from Shinjuku station. Very convenient for train access. Room was very clean & staff very helpful. Amenities included lounging shirt, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. but no hand lotion. French bakery nearby serves excellent pastry & a myriad of delectable baked delghts. Many restaurants & shopping malls close by. Mall restaurants are clean and mostly non smoking but their food isn't as good & cheap as the side street restaurants.

Great location next to Shinjuku train station!

Posted 03 17, 14
Pros: - clean warm rooms - comfortable beds & linen - central location near to main station & amenities - helpful staff - free wifi for using my ipad
Cons: Provision of map of city and / or local map in hotel information pack. (available in each room)
Location: - 5 mins walk to railway station and info centre. - Many shops & resturants nearby - 2 food courts for variety & cheap eating also within 5 mins
-King bed corner room has excellent views and is a spacious room. -Housekeeping excellent, very clean hotel. -Useful sundries shop on site. Bottled water supplied free in rooms. -Beds comfortable. -Air heating in room which can be controlled by panel on wall, so a nice warm room! - Rooms are quiet. -Water heater supplied for tea / coffee making but no 'english breakfast' tea bags supplied - only Earl Grey & Darjeeling. Hotel housekeeping said they did not stock english tea! Take your own! -Do not bother taking a hairdryer and hotbrush / straighteners as they do not work with Japanese electrics, even with adaptor plugs. (different voltage in hotel?) Had to use hairdryer supplied by hotel. -Free newspaper delivered to your room every morning. -Many eating places within walking distance of hotel both for breakfasts & other meals. Did not use hotel resturants as I thought they were expensive, with cheaper alternatives available within walking distance. -Take a good guide book & map as very little is provided in English. - Use Friendly Airport Transport buses for airport transfers which drop & pick up directly at hotel. (pre- book with Expedia.) Do not recommend using train with any quantity of luggage.

Great Hotel

Posted 03 11, 14
Pros: The view, the cleanliness
Cons: Nope.
Location: Shinjuku train station which can take you anywhere. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby
Great business-style hotel right near the Shinjuku train station. Everything you could ask for was provided. We had breakfast at the hotel one day which was a little expensive (about 22000 yen pp) however it was great. Fresh fruit, coffee, eggs cooked to order as well as traditional Japaneses breakfast food. And the view of Tokyo is awesome. Be careful when ordering drinks in the lobby bar though. I asked for a whiskey and lemonade, and got whiskey with water and some lemon cordial! This might have been a Japanese thing though. Other than that the bar is really nice with a view overlooking the western side of the city
