This is an amazing place! Opening the door and seeing the sea right there, the staff couldn’t be nicer, friendlier and Annie at the reception is an angel! Very interesting tour of the pearl farm, great food, fantastic massages, truly loved our stay. The only thing … I wished the bed was softer but everything else was just wonderful!

The staff and managers welcome at the shore of this beautiful island resort was only the beginning of our wonderful stay. You are treated as royalty it seems. Everything was impeccably clean and cared for here and the staff immediately act up on anything you may want or need to know. The variety of healthy food is wonderful and the servers wait out of the way focusing on you anticipating any need you might want or need. We plan on returning.

Loved the resort. It was like paradise. It’s a little far to get to, however fully worth it. The coral reef are beautiful just off the beach in front of the resort. There is a nice path around the island that take about 40min walk and if lucky see some monitor lizards of up to 1.5meters. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to accommodate you. The view from the lighthouse is spectacular.

Happy and relaxing getaway

I spent 4 nights here on my honeymoon and it was exceptional. I paid for a budget room that only had a view of the trees thinking we would spend most of our time outside which was mostly true. If I were to go back I would splurge and get a room with a hammock on the beach because it looked so relaxing. The food was great and plentiful and since we’re both vegetarians they went out of their way to make special dishes just for us. We always left full and happy. The island is just a stunning relaxing paradise. There a some water sports to do but just hanging out by the beach or the beachside bar was plenty enjoyment for us. The staff couldn’t be friendlier and go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable even during a typhoon and over Christmas when you know they were away from their families. As a gay coupled we felt very welcomed as well. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere secluded, private, and away from life.

Extremely limited and unimaginative choices for buffet meals. Hot food always cold by the time it was brought out from the kitchen. Wifi unavailable in the evenings. No water or coffee/tea making facilities in the room and the expectation was that you buy water outside of meal times. Dinner started late, at 7.30pm or later. While breakfast theoretically started at 7am, it was rarely available until 7.45am or later. Staff were very slow to clear away rubbish from tables in the bar area, sometimes leaving it overnight. The killer for us was the exorbitant $US150 return boat fee from Tay Tay, on the mainland. At night, lights along the path to the huts were broken, making it unsafe to walk. While the views from the beach were lovely, the customer service at this resort was very poor and we were pleased to leave, especially after sorting out the bill, where we were double-charged for massages.

Food was mediocre. Everything else...paradise! Cannot say enough good things about staff, class!
