Ika Nui is in a great position close to the lake and well withing walking distance of town/restaurants etc. Our two bedroom unit was very comfortable, had a good sized fridge and good cooking facilities if you are there with kids....with the added bonus of an ensuite.
Our grandchildren loved the pool, spa and plunge pool although we were disappointed that on our final morning they couldn't have a quick swim at 8.30 a.m. before we had to leave at 10, especially when they could see other kids in the pool. We were told the pool was being treated over that time. I wonder if they could do that treatment after ten and before the 2pm check-in time. We also had a tradesman make himself at home on our balcony area - but the management did deal with that when we told them. Overall we would return for another stay.

Great spot for our 2 night stay. Easy access to all attractions, and walking distance to town.
Bit squishy for a family of 5 with only one bedroom, but manageable for 2 nights.
