There was a broken woods and nails in the down floor.they didn't put any sign. Another thing was we checked it late around 10.00pm. we told the staff that we would be checking in late. One of the staff told me it is fine for us to stay until 12pm instead of 11am as we checked in late. Next day when it was 11 am they turned the light off the room. It was very disappointing experience. Would never ever recommend QT Bondi to anyone

We read very good reviews of the QT Bondi and although we loved the location of the hotel which is right across the street from the beach, we were quite disappointed. We arrived at the property before check-in time and stored our bags there. They said they would call us when our room was available but a call never came. When I called the front desk after checkin time to see if our room was available, I received a rather terse response of "it is past 3pm, so your room must be ready". No apology at all for not calling to let us know. Once we got our keys, we headed to our room. Getting off the elevator on our floor we immediately see what appears to be spilled paint on the carpet and a fairly weathered and dingy floor in the hotel. Arriving at our room we were welcomed by a terrible smell, somewhere between musty and a sewer. It was quite offensive. The only thing I can say is that we got used to the smell after a while, but each time we entered the room it hit us pretty strongly. The cost of the hotel as compared to other local properties was high as well, which made the stay that much more frustrating. Needless to say we won't staying at the QT Bondi for our next visit to the lovely Bondi Beach.

Great location, great room, friendly staff

Nice hotel in the heart of Bondi Beach.
Posted 19 Feb 2024 on HotelsWe stayed at the QT Bondi for just one night in a king deluxe room. The room was very large and recently updated. We had a full kitchenette and laundry in the room! The bathroom was also lovely. We could definitely been comfortable in the room for a week. The balcony was the only disappointment but I did not request a sea view. Staff was very helpful and the location is in the heart of Bondi, a busy area.

Location is good. Pitt it doesn’t have views.
My only complaint is the bed which are way too soft. Our king size bed was to beds pushed together
