Property is under new management and premises are undergoing refurbishment. The room we had was excellent but no restaurant and no bar . Very few staff but the staff available very helpful. Half hotel refurb done but long way to go.

Going through renovations when we stayed so imagine things will be different very soon. The staff was top notch and the location is perfect with many options for food and drinks in walking distance.

Posted 27 Sep 2021 on HotelsBooked the hotel online after seeing some lovely pictures we was meant to have a king exec suite with a balcony so the pictures showed at a cost of £185 we got a tiny room no view curtains as yellow as sponge Bob as they probably haven’t been washed in years dead flies on the window seal the bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly as it was rubbing the tiles in the bathroom was dirty and loose all in all terrible

Weekend stay to visit family.
Posted 30 Aug 2021 on HotelsFriendly and helpful staff. Very clean and had everything needed in room. Room next to road but no traffic so mainly quiet. Had to keep curtains shut due to people walking past. Brief noise in evening from people having been out and coming back and /or getting cars. Most rooms are away from the road though.

Aggressive staff
Posted 22 Aug 2021 on HotelsAbsolutely disgusting service, the staff swore at us and we left the hotel at 10:30pm. There is no restaurant facility and there is construction work whis is not advertised anywhere. The staff are rude and aggressive. Lisa should not be allowed to work in customer service. Ruined my anniversary and i wouldn't recommend anyone atay here.

Beautiful Location
Posted 17 Aug 2021 on HotelsThis is the 3rd time we've stayed at the Dolphin, twice at Wedding Receptions which were amazing and this time for an overnight meetup with friends. It is in the process of having extensive alterations but this hasn't in any way affected the smooth running, or cleanliness of this Hotel. Lovely location. Friendly staff. Would recommend it to anyone.
