The best part about this hotel is its proximity to Chinatown and the MRT. The rooms itself, however, are very dated and were not clean. My friend and I booked a non-smoking room, yet we smelled smoke in our bathroom all 3 days that we stayed there. When we brought it up to the front desk, they sent a housekeeper with Febreeze and that was all -- and the smell did not go away. Additionally the room was quite dirty (dust all around, mould in the bathroom). Perhaps other rooms were better but we were elss than satisfied with ours.

Every time we came to our floor (floor 9) it smelled like smoke. We called reception and let them know about the smoke smell but it was the same the following days we stayed. Our initial room felt dirty - stained chair and old water still in the pitcher and we asked for a new room. The new room still felt run down and with stains again on the chair and the carpet was sticky. The pictures on the website are misleading. The hallways appear run down and the carpet looks dirty. I do not recommend this hotel. A positive thing I can say is that the staff is friendly.

My mom has a bag of her clothing which includes mostly underwear stolen, warning for others to look after their stuff
