It is close to the US embassy and Korean tourist spots. So the Korean policemen are around the hotel. I felt no inconvenience from walking from/to hotel at even late night. The staffs are kind. The breakfast is amazing. You are not allowed to take stairs when you movw. The elevator is only activated when you tap your card. The emergency stair sign should be on the door, not the behind the door. I wanted to take stair to get downstairs and I realized there was no way out after I closed the door behind me. The lady at the front said it is for the security reason.

Enjoyed staying at this Shilla location. Location was convenient to Seoul station and areas we wanted to see. Staff was very receptive and helpful. Modern hotel was attractive and clean with sufficient amenities and is a very good value in this neighborhood.

I stayed at this property for 10 days with my mom (2 adults) in a small room with a large comfortable king size bed. The room is better suited for 1 person - not enough outlets or outlet on only 1 side, no drawers to put away clothes. This is more of a businsss hotel for a shorter stay. I didn’t use the restaurant because there was no charm for having a drink. I used the business center to get some work done on an open large table. Internet worked great. The gym suited my needs of some weight and some cardio with a nice view. Excellent location. This is a business area so the weekends are dead and not as easy to find food offerings directly nearby, many places closed but not too far to walk a few extra minutes to find other restaurants. Hotel staff was great. The lobby is on the 8th floor which initially threw me off since there were no signs when entering. Ah, there were also free laundry machines and only 1 dryer which creates waits - someone did take out my dryer clothes before the dryer time ended. I thought the price was correct. I would stay again if I were alone.

Our room has foul smell from the drain. Initially, we thought it would go away. It remained for two days until we notified the front desk. The thermostat in the room was also not working. The front desk informed us that the room temperature is centrally controlled. That is crazy! Our room temperature was like 26 degree Celsius. However, staffs were great. They tried their best to serve us, but the facility is a disappointment. :-(
