We stayed here when we came out to Rhode Island for our son’s graduation from Brown University. This location is an easy 5 mile drive to Brown University. There are plenty of fast food options within a few blocks of the hotel. Plenty of parking, area was very quiet and appeared to be very safe. It is an older hotel, but was very serviceable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was good for us. Our first night there, a group of kids and parents arrived at 1 a.m. and proceeded to run up and down the halls creating havoc and waking up my wife and I, who had just arrived that evening on a flight from Florida. We were the first room next to the front desk and no one told the kids to be quiet. I was going to call the desk but they calmed down about 1:30.

I hear they are tearing this hotel down soon. Bummer. Is a cute hotel with a function room. The room was STUFFY. Was able to open the windows but was unable to have cold air blow in through the vent.. which sucked for sleeping.. overall. If we were to stay here again, we'd bring a fan.
