There wasn’t any parking.. it’s for the residents.. when you walk to the gate you can put your hand in to open it.. it’s suppose to be for security(def not) and the smell or marijuana hits you as soon as you walk in the building. The door to the apartment didn’t have a proper lock for security at all. If someone really wanted to they can bulldoze with their shoulder and open it. Linens and mattresses were dirty! We booked for a certain amount of people and didn’t have enough towels out.. searched for them and found them in the closet that had excessive black mold in it!! When we checked in we were told via text that we were going to have 24hr front desk receptionist, couldn’t get a hold of anyone and neither could Expedia. We were trying to get into a diff room at least and no luck till the next day. One of the restrooms had a big construction hole at the top.. oven had ‘red service is hot’ bulb on but all of the switches were off. Fridge was gross. And they have a sign with all the charges they will charge you for but yet had everything wrong with the apartment. DO NOT BOOK DO YOURSELF THAT FAVOR!

Overall, it was a nice experience! Very clean, spacious, safe, and centrally located!!
Only one complain. One night we had noisy neighbors until late at night, and when we contacted management, they were not able to help us.

Interior apartment without external windows that is loud due to an inner foyer that connects all the units.

The property is phenomenal! Absolutely gorgeous! It was clean and the communication was pretty prompt. I loved how each of the rooms has their own bathrooms, but the shower pressure was not working on the top floor bathrooms. I did notify the owner and they said they will have it repaired. We left before someone came to repair the showers. Location is great, we walked to everything we needed and wanted to visit. The property definitely has an Old San Juan charm. Just beautiful!

Very inconvenient the millions of WINGET ANTS, are sexually mature ants that fly out of their colonies to reproduce and establish new colonies. We were running and screaming 😱 like kids.. Never again, there was humidity from the bathroom ceiling and water drops were coming down. We had a good time till the ants from hell came down
will never stay in SAN JUAN AGAIN, rather el condado.

Place is nice, walkable, local culture is very nice, quiet, the only issue is the staff communication is not the best and there was a blackout the first night for more than 7 hours and the staff never called to inform or to ask anything, also after the blackout the internet was affected several hours and we had to call the staff to ask for updates, they never communicate back. Otherwise the apartment is nice and was clean

Stay away from Old San Juan Rentals. They gave us a rental that was not what we agreed to which was in a different location more than 8 blocks away. We wanted to be next door to our friends but Old San Juan Rentals assumed that would be ok?! They didn’t even ask or notify us. When confronted about it, they said the original rental was under maintenance. Unprofessional and they ruined our stay. The new location was noisy and further away from the town square. Stay away from this company.
